Here is a message from the Election Coordinator:

Dear Members
ASIS International Dubai Chapter #250 is pleased to announce the start of Nomination
and Election for its Chapter Officers for the year 2010. The positions open for nomination
and Election are the
· Chapter Chairman
· Vice Chairman
· Treasurer
· Secretary
Committee personnel are appointed by the Chapter Chairman, are not subject to this
nomination and election process.
The Nomination and Election for the Chapter’s Officers will be processed thru the
following three stages:
Stage-1: Nomination
Where interested members (including the current 2009 officers) need to be
nominated for the preferred position in order to be eligible for 2010 officers’
election.
Rules for Nomination:
· All nominees for ASIS Officers must be a member in good standing.
· All nominations must be submitted to the undersigned using the attached Form.
· The cut-off date for nomination is 1 December, 2009 at 16:00 hours.
· Nominations received after the cut-off date will be considered invalid.
Stage-2: Election
After the cut-off date of nomination stage, all nominees will be listed in one Ballot
and sent to all members for voting.
Rules for Election:
· Each member must only vote for one person in each position.
· Nominees can use their membership’s right and vote.
· Ballots must be submitted to the undersigned.
· The cut-off date for voting is 23th December, 2009 at 16:00 hours.
· Voting received after the cut-off date will be considered invalid.
Stage-3: Results Announcement
Voting results will be collected, computed, and then announced.
Rules for Results Announcement
· Election Results will be announced to all members, SRVP, RVP.
· The Installation of the new officers will take place during January 2009.
