Dear Members,

ASIS International Dubai Chapter #250 is pleased to announce the start of Nomination and Election for its Chapter Officers for the year 2012. The positions open for nomination and Election are the

" Vice Chairman
" Treasurer
" Secretary

Committee personnel are appointed by the Chapter Chairman, and are not subject to this nomination and election process.
The Nomination and Election for the Chapter's Officers will be processed thru the following three stages:

Stage-1: Nomination

Where interested, members (including the current 2011 officers) need to be nominated for the preferred position in order to be eligible for 2012 officers' election.
Rules for Nomination:
" All nominees for ASIS Officers must be a member in good standing.
" Nominees may not campaign for themselves or other nominees.
" All nominations must be submitted to the email: Craig.McLay@ci-pinkerton.com
using the attached Form.
" The cut-off date for nominations is 31 December, 2011 at 16:00 hours.
" Nominations received after the cut-off date will be considered invalid.

Stage-2: Election

After the cut-off date of nomination stage, all nominees will be listed in one Ballot and sent to all members for voting by 16 January 2012. Where there is more than one nomination for a post, CVs of the competing candidates will be sent out with the voting form. Nominees for uncontested posts will not be included in the vote and will automatically be offered the role.
Rules for Election:
" Each member must only vote for one person in each position.
" Nominees can use their membership's right and vote.
" Ballots must be submitted to the email: Craig.McLay@ci-pinkerton.com
" The cut-off date for voting is 16 January 2012 at 16:00 hours.
" Voting received after the cut-off date will be considered invalid.

Stage-3: Results Announcement

Voting results will be collected, computed, and then announced.
Rules for Results Announcement
" Election Results will be announced to all members, SRVP, RVP.
" The Installation of the new officers will take place at the end of January 2012.
